Shipping policy

Octopied Mind Inc. ships worldwide from our Canadian and U.S. warehouses.
By completing checkout, you acknowledge and agree to the policies, terms, and conditions of any third-party shipping carriers used to fulfill your order, including but not limited to those related to delivery timelines, delays, customs processing, duties, tariffs, and import fees.
1. Warehouses & Fulfillment
Orders are shipped from one of our two fulfillment centers:
- Canada: Brampton, Ontario
- United States: Riverside, California (Now Open)
Orders automatically ship from the warehouse closest to you when inventory allows.
2. Duties & Tariffs
Canada
Orders shipped within Canada are domestic and not subject to duties or import taxes.
United States
As of December 5, 2025 at 2:30 PM EST, all U.S. orders ship from our California warehouse. This means U.S. customers will no longer pay import duties or tariffs, and shipping is faster and fully domestic.
Orders placed prior to December 5, 2025 at 2:30 PM EST were shipped from our Canadian warehouse and are subject to import duties and tariffs, which may be collected by your government or carrier at any time.

International Orders
Customers outside Canada and the U.S. are responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or taxes applied to their shipment. These charges vary by country and are beyond our control.
Please note: carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS may send separate bills for duties or taxes after delivery. By placing an order, you agree to pay any applicable pre- or post-delivery charges.
3. Free Shipping
Shipping rates and free shipping offers may vary depending on your location, order value, and current promotions. Any available free shipping thresholds or promotions will be shown on the product page and at checkout.
Shipping promotions may change or be paused at any time, including during sales, special events, or high-volume periods. When a free shipping promotion is not active, standard shipping rates will apply.
4. Processing Times
Orders are typically processed the same day and shipped within 1–3 business days.
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order leaves the warehouse.
Processing and transit times may be delayed during holidays, high-volume periods, or any disruptions impacting our warehouse, carriers, or other third-party services involved in order fulfillment.
5. Transit Times
Shipping typically takes 2–7 business days for most domestic orders. International orders vary by destination and may take longer to deliver.
Transit times can be extended during holidays or high-volume seasons, and carriers may also experience delays from weather, customs backlogs, political disruptions, or temporary tariff-related congestion. Once the package leaves our warehouse, these delays are outside our control.

Rates are automatically calculated at checkout.
Canada $14.00 CAD
United States $11 USD
Australia $75.00 CAD
Rest of World $50.00 CAD
7. Worldwide Shipping
We ship globally wherever carriers deliver. International shipping times vary by destination, and customs clearance can sometimes cause additional delays.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
If the carrier cannot deliver your package due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Missing unit or apartment number
- No access to the mailbox or building
We'll attempt to contact you to correct the issue. If the package is returned to us, your order will be refunded minus any carrier return fees.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with resending a returned package. Return fees vary by carrier and location.
9. Lost / Stolen / RTS Packages
If the shipping address on your order confirmation is incorrect or incomplete, we are not responsible. You are responsible for providing accurate information at checkout. If the provided address is correct, proceed to step 2.
If your order is marked “delivered” but you haven't received it, wait 24 hours. Carriers may mark packages early. If it still hasn’t arrived by the end of the next day, contact support@octopiedmind.com to open a claim.
If the package was delivered to the correct address and then stolen, no replacement will be issued.
If the carrier confirms that it was lost in transit or delivered to the wrong address, we will issue a replacement.
