This design was inspired by the fetishization of productivity - the hustle & grind mentality that was born out of the oppressive capitalist, patriarchal, and colonialist society we are still imprisoned by today.
My Demons Won Today serves as a reminder that no matter how we identify, the need for self-care, a quiet space, slowing down and being gentle with ourselves and others is a normal desire for ALL OF US.
The voice in your head telling you to stop and smell the roses is not a sign of laziness or worthlessness. The voices of your so-called demons exist to remind you that YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS.
