Please mark your parcel “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value.” You’ll be responsible for return shipping, duties, and brokerage fees.

You have 45 days from the delivery date to start a return. For full eligibility details, visit our Refund Policy.

At this time, we’re not able to offer exchanges. We recommend submitting a return through the Octopied Mind Returns Portal for the item you’d like to send back and placing a new order for the one you want instead. Once your return is received and processed at our warehouse, your refund will be issued to your original form of payment.

We’re sorry your order didn’t arrive as expected. Please email support@octopiedmind.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged or incorrect item and your order details. We’ll review your claim and make it right with a refund or replacement.

Make sure you’ve already started your return through the Octopied Mind Returns Portal. To reprint your label, visit the same portal, enter your order number and postal / zip code, and follow the prompts. You can also track your return or cancel your request there. If you still can’t print or download your label, email support@octopiedmind.com and we’ll help you out.

Once your return is on the way to our warehouse, the process has started. When it’s received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm if it’s accepted or declined. This can take up to 5 business days from the date your tracking shows Delivered. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your original form of payment.

Return label rates are sourced directly from our discounted Canada Post (CA) / USPS (US) business account and will always be lower than retail carrier pricing. You can verify your rate using the links below. Simply use your address as the origin and our warehouse as the destination. For package dimensions, most orders ship in a mailer approximately 12" x 12" x 1" and ~1 lb. per item.

Ordering

Octopied Mind products are available exclusively at octopiedmind.com.

Orders typically take 1–3 business days to process before shipping. During product launches, holidays, or unforeseen delays with 3rd party partners, processing times may be slightly longer. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is on the way.

Yes. You’ll receive an email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. We currently do not split shipments, so all items in your order will arrive together.

Due to rapid fulfillment, changes and cancellations aren’t guaranteed once an order has been placed. Please review our Refund Policy for full details.

Shipping

Orders ship from the warehouse located in your region:

Canada: Ships to all Canadian addresses and all international destinations (except the USA).

USA: Our U.S. warehouse ships exclusively to U.S. addresses.

USA Customers: No. As of 12/05/2025, all orders ship from our California, U.S. warehouse with no duties or import fees. However, orders placed before 12/05/2025 are subject to import fees as per our shipping policy.

Canada Customers: No. We are a Canadian business, and Canadian orders do not incur duties or import fees as they ship from our Brampton, ON warehouse.

International Customers: Import duties and taxes vary by country. If your country charges customs fees, you may be responsible for them upon delivery.

If you need to update your shipping address, please contact support@octopiedmind.com as soon as possible. While we’ll make every effort to assist, address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted.

For customers in the USA we ship domestically tariff / duty free from our warehouse in California, USA.

For customers located in Canada we ship domestically tariff / duty free from our warehouse in Brampton, ON.

For international customers we ship from our Canadian warehouse. Delivery times and duties vary by location and local customs processing.

All prices are shown in your local currency, and taxes are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

Step 1: Check your address: If the shipping address on your order confirmation is incorrect or incomplete, we are not responsible. You are responsible for providing accurate information at checkout. If the provided address is correct, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Wait 24 hours: If your order is marked “delivered” but you haven't received it, wait 24 hours. Carriers may mark packages early. If it still hasn’t arrived by the end of the next day, contact support@octopiedmind.com to open a claim.

Note: If the package was delivered to the correct address and then stolen, no replacement will be issued. If the carrier confirms that it was lost in transit or delivered to the wrong address, we will issue a replacement.

SIZING

In early 2026 we removed the short/long length system. As we grew to two warehouses across Canada and the US, managing so many variations of each product made it harder to stay stocked in the sizes people actually want.

Going forward, each style comes in the length that best suits the artwork — from baby tee to oversized and everything in between. Our full size range from XS-6X is still available, and every product page includes a size guide with flat measurements to help you find the right fit.

Each product has its own size chart and fit details. For the most accurate information, open the Size Guide along with the Fit + Fabric tab on the specific product page you’re viewing.

Octopied Mind offers an inclusive size range from XS to 6X.

We are currently transitioning from flat measurements to body measurements.

Some size charts use flat garment measurements while others use body measurements.

We regularly refine our fits based on customer feedback, so small updates may be made to improve comfort, shape, or overall fit. This means two products in the same style can fit slightly differently depending on when they were produced.

Each product’s Size Guide reflects the most current measurements, so always check the guide on the specific product page for the most accurate fit information.

Octopied Mind operates from two fulfillment centers — one in Brampton, Canada and one in California, USA.

Our founders, Jill and Sarah, work remotely alongside our growing team.

We partner with trusted manufacturers in Canada and China who share our values and commitment to quality, inclusivity, and ethical production.

While we love collaborating with Canadian partners, the country’s manufacturing landscape is limited — many facilities lack the advanced technology and scale needed for our product range, and production costs are significantly higher. Working with our international partners allows us to maintain our high standards while keeping our products affordable for you.

Every factory we work with upholds strict labor and safety standards, ensuring fair and responsible production.

Our pricing reflects the true cost of creating ethical, high-quality clothing — not inflated markups.

Each Octopied Mind piece is priced to cover fair wages, ethical manufacturing, and the small-batch nature of our production. We also invest heavily in original artwork, inclusive sizing, premium materials, and responsible operations that align with our values.

Unlike large retailers that mass-produce and mark up several times over, we operate on modest margins so we can keep our products accessible while paying our people and partners fairly.

We restock popular styles every 1–3 months. Restocks are announced in our newsletter.

We don’t accept custom orders or design requests.

We offer wholesale to a small number of select shops. Approved partners may sell Octopied Mind products in their brick-and-mortar locations only — online sales are not permitted.
