It became their armor, their shield, and their reminder that each day brought a fresh start.

One day, Jara found themselves feeling particularly defeated. Instead of letting it bring them down, they remembered their fiery power, "Not Today!" With these words, they ignited a flame that burned away their doubts and fears, leaving behind only the resilience and determination to rise above. As the sun set, Jara felt a renewed sense of hope - for they knew that tomorrow was a new day, and it could be the day they were waiting for. And so, they rose every morning, with their fiery power as a constant reminder that they held the strength to choose their battles, and that every new day brought endless possibilities.

As Jara embraced their journey, they learned to turn their setbacks into triumphs, and their moments of doubt into sparks of inspiration. One fateful day, Jara came across a brilliant idea: to wear their fiery power proudly on their chest as a reminder of their resilience. Jill Davis (right) and Sarah Vezina (left) are two best friends from small town Dalhousie, New Brunswick. They grew up in the same neighbourhood, took the same bus, had the same babysitter and even rode on the same bike (because Sarah couldn't afford her own). Their inseparability and toxic dependency lasted through adulthood where they quit their corporate jobs to work with each other instead. Given that no one can tell them apart, it's clear that Octopied Mind has been founded on the melting and merging of their brain power, creativity and essence - All of which are used to produce the strange and vulnerable graphic art you see today.
