No really. It’s taken a lot of time & learning for us to realize that we won’t be living out our wildest dreams of being stretched out on a beach running a getaway retreat with all of you overnight. The universe will only give you what you’re ready for, and because of this mystical rule, good things take time.

Even though the rise and grind has us feeling a bit frustrated these days, at the end of the day we are grateful for all that we have.

The reality is we are living our dreams right NOW. One of the main learnings we often come back to is that whether it’s for personal development or business growth, everything that you do today will only pay off in 30 to 90 days from now.

Whether it's a new exercise routine, relationship changes, growing business, aiming for that promotion, your finances and beyond - if you stick to the grind you will see it pay off, but not overnight.

This learning brings me a lot of comfort when things feel hard and questionable. It brings me comfort when I wake up in the morning and I’m not sure what to tackle or how to get us to the next level. It helps me when I feel down about how I’ve been showing up in my relationship or in my body. It helps to know that whatever I do today there are no expectations that it will make me rich, fit, stable or happy by tomorrow.

Reminding myself that things take time (measurable time) not only helps me be present but improves the quality of my efforts tremendously. When we act out of a state of emergency the results that we get will often underwhelm us. However when we act out of a state of calmness and sureness, the results of our actions are far more sustainable and abundant.

So again, if you’re looking for a sign that what you’re doing will pay off - this is it.
