The choice not to have children is often framed as a pathological concern, requiring psychiatric approval for procedures like tubal ligation. This is especially troubling in light of historical injustices where Indigenous women underwent sterilization without consent. All these issues culminate in a shared struggle for autonomy and rights. It’s NOT because identity = anatomy. If you’re angry about laws controlling bodies, you’re in the club.
